Voter Eligibility: Only members of the Conservative Party living in Calgary Centre, age 14 and older, are eligible to vote in the nomination (scroll down for map).

You must have purchased your membership by February 7. Small exception: if you were previously a member and your card expired December 3, 2018 or later, you may renew at the door on voting day.

If you are not sure of your membership status, please e-mail and she will check for you.

Advance/Proxy Voting: There is no advance poll and no proxy voting. You must vote in person at that time and place.

Identification: You do not need your membership card to vote (there is a voters’ list) but DO bring identification: one piece with photo and address (such as drivers’ license) OR two pieces, one with photo (such as passport or student ID) plus one piece showing your name and address (a phone/utility bill or a letter/document from government, an institution, or an authority, such as a tax return letter, bank or credit card statement, a letter from a school/university, or letter from Alberta Health). It is OK to find the document online and print it out to bring with you (or show on your phone) - so long as it shows your address in Calgary Centre. It must, however, have your name - not another family member’s name.

The Ballot: This will be a “preferential ballot” which means you mark the candidates in your preferred order (1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice). When the ballots are counted, after each round of counting, the lowest candidate drops off and his/her votes are transferred to each voter’s next choice. This continues until one candidate gets 50% +1 of the votes.

While Greg asks you to choose him as your first choice, if you are already committed to another candidate, please consider putting him as your second choice.

I ask for your support. Please mark your calendar for March 2.

If you require assistance to vote (such as a ride), please e-mail me at or phone 403.614.1934.
