Chinatown Street Festival

Chinatown Street Festival is returning to Calgary’s Chinatown streets for its 18th annual exhibition of Asian culture and Chinatown heritage on Saturday August 17th 2019.
Come experience the “Silk Road” at Calgary’s Chinatown.
The festival is a combination of multi-cultural performances on and off stage, international cuisine and retail booths, and cultural family fun activities and entertainment (including the Calgary Flames “Family Zone”).
The Chinatown eateries and malls are also open to welcome all visitors.

September 1 (Sunday): Calgary Pride Parade, 11:00 AM to Noon. Greg will be walking in the parade with friends. Feel free to join him.
September 7 & 8 (Saturday & Sunday): Greg McLean Literature Drop throughout Calgary Centre. We’ll be looking for volunteers: bring your kids, your dogs, your spouse - and get a couple of hours of exercise in the lovely late summer weather. No knocking on doors - just drop in mailboxes.
September 7 (Saturday evening): Calgary-wide Conservative Rally hosted by MP Michelle Rempel. Doors open at 5:30 PM; rally starts at 7:00 PM. More info to follow. Speakers will include Laureen Harper and Alberta Energy Minister Sonya Savage.
September 28 & 29 (Saturday and Sunday): Second Greg McLean Literature Drop. Same info as above for Sept 7 & 8.
